
Ficus Capital Invests UD400,000 In Indonesian-Based Assemblr
KUALA LUMPUR, 7 December 2022 – Ficus Capital, today announced that it has invested US400,000 through its Ficus SEA Fund in Assemblr, an augmented reality (AR) platform company. Assemblr is a Bandung-based start-up that is focused on helping users to create AR contents via its web-based platform.

The demand will get bigger as the world is preparing towards what metaverse will bring. Ficus Capital has announced its flagship RM60 million fund, Ficus SEA, with a focus on investment in the Southeast Asian region. Mavcap is an anchor investor to the fund. This is Ficus Capital’s first investment for a start-up based outside of Malaysia. Ficus Capital is world’s first shariah compliant venture capitalist. Co-founded by Hasbi Asyadiq, Anita Yustisia and Risnandar in 2018, Assemblr is an augmented reality online platform that creates, discovers, and shares AR experiences for businesses, students and personal users.
