The Greentech Fund represents a collaborative green initiative between Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation and Ficus Capital.
The funds core mission is to direct investments into green technology projects and companies across Southeast Asia, primarily focus in Malaysia. This effort aligned with Malaysia’s aspiration of attaining net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 while fostering green industry growth across Southeast Asia.
The Greentech Fund is committed to investing in companies that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), fostering sustainability and responsible growth.
The fund aim to achieve, amongst others, the principles of UNSDGs 7 (Affordable & Clean Energy), 11 (Sustainable Cities & Communities), 13 (Climate Action), 14 (Life Below Water), and 15 (Life on Land).
